My Story:
SAT/ACT prep is very personal for me. As a senior in high school, I was accepted to my dream school, a private top-20 research university. I was ecstatic, and determined to attend - until I saw the 6-figure final price tag. Rather than graduating over $100,000 in debt, I chose to focus hard on improving my test scores.
By January, I had achieved top 1% scores on both the SAT and ACT, qualifying me to earn a full-ride National Merit Scholarship to a tier-1 public research university. Though it wasn't where I had initially wanted to go, I found no shortage of opportunities. In college, I completed several teaching and research assistantships, before graduating summa cum laude with a degree in Biochemistry. Soon after, I won the prestigious Fulbright Teaching Award and departed for a year-long contract in North Sulawesi, Indonesia, where I taught English as a second language to low-income high school students. Ever since my return, I have focused all of my energy on teaching, building a top-tier prep program for the newly redesigned SAT and ACT, so that all of my students can have the same incredible opportunities I did.
